POSITION PURPOSE This position serves as an equipment operator to support a wide variety of tasks in oil and gas field operations. Working under the direction of the site supervisor.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work safely in potentially hazardous environments
  • Operate an excavator
  • Ability to work on location – 12 hour shift
  • Manage drill cutting waste on the assigned drill site
  • Solidify drill cuttings using an excavator
  • Complete daily field reports
  • Responsible for scheduling and dispatching dump trucks for soil pickup

WORKING CONDITIONS This position will be faced with varying working conditions. Inclement and/or extreme weather may be a factor as well as other unforeseen conditions. The potential for long hours and varying shifts may also exist.

 Position Summary:

 Supports the manufacturing process by performing job duties in a safe and efficient manner by loading and unloading parts and products utilizing an overhead conveyor process. Hangs parts in proper sequence and unloads in proper sequence to insure delivery of the correctly labeled product to the production department and assists our team in meeting scheduled demands. Performs masking and preparatory cleaning of parts and products to be coated, whether on conveyor or floor work to insure a high quality end product. Assists painters and pre-treatment operator in their processes.

 Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Removes parts/products from conveyor belt and places in rack or container.
  • Moves finished pieces to storage area using caster based carts, etc.
  • Removes product from conveyor and examines coating for smears, runs, incomplete painting, and similar flaws.
  • Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following all personal and environmental safety guidelines.
  • Determines the next step in production by following OPS and places parts in designated area based on distribution needs; material handler, tugger, paint market, silk screen, etc.
  • Inspects work piece for defects (welds, paint imperfections, scratches, dents, etc.), determine non-conformance, and next step of production.
  • Marks identifying code, kanban card, etc., on work piece to indicate destination for further processing.
  • Secures parts to skid for transition to next production area.
  • Transfers items to and from work area using hand truck, jack up truck, hand carts, etc., based on part to be moved.
  • Works throughout paint production areas to accomplish goals by demonstrating ability and willingness to work with others when needed.
  • Places or racks work pieces on conveyor.
  • Trains other on job duties, quality goals, material tracking, company guidelines, etc., and serves as a positive role model in the work place.
  • Utilizes computer (AS400) system shared plant-wide to accomplish and track production goals.
  • Inspects parts for paint millage (thickness), performs physicals at determined intervals.
  • Inspects product to verify that optional/custom changes have been made according to OPS or other internal documents.
  • Pays special attention to PPE and JSA (Job Safety Analysis) guidelines based on part to be handled, etc. to insure safe handling.
  • Places parts onto conveyor that carries them between spray nozzles.
  • Plans and prepares for work load by paying attention to work in process when possible.
  • Participates on Continuous Quality Improvement and supports PPI projects.
  • Works in teams to accomplish overall plant goals regarding safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Operates hand tools equipped with air hose, hydraulic lift, etc., to accomplish production goals.
  • Sets up units along conveyor line to coat metal by determining flow speed and hanging accordingly.
  • Attends meetings such as safety, PPI, KEYS, start-up meetings, etc, when asked to do so.
  • Cleans surfaces, using hand scraper, wire brush, sandpaper, etc, depending on task to be performed.
  • Uses sandpaper, wire brush, or steel wool to remove rust from metal.
  • Maintains condition of hangers/hooks, by preparing for cleaning and utilization.
  • Cleans work area solvents or soap and water.
  • Marks work piece with non-conforming tag to determine and type of repair needed.
  • Place orders using material request order found on computer system to maintain items needed in daily production to insure constant flow with no down-time.
  • Straightens parts, etc., in preparation for painting using hand tools and/or manually.
  • Suggests improvements in work methods and procedures by speaking with supervisor(s) and joining PPI teams when possible.
  • Touch-up or spray paint to cover scratches, chips, or repairs in finish of items.
  • Maintains awareness of location and availability of job specific information found on company intranet computer system.
  • Prepares parts to be hung, such as punch hook holes, etc., to enable paint processing.
  • Researches MSDS information when needed to insure personal and environmental safety.
  • Participates in teams and utilizes Excel spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and data analysis.
  • Fastens lift chain around components to navigate and move production pieces as needed.
  • Maintains organized, clean work area to promote personal and environmental safety.
  • Researches routing of pieces using computer system.
  • Cleans and finishes assembly products using approved cleaners/chemicals and tools according to PSS book and refers to MSDS to insure safe handling and proper PPE equipment is utilized.
  • Fills MEK containers for other areas by following all personal and environmental guidelines.
  • Records number and type of units rejected and reasons for rejection by completing check-list/document that tracks production results for further analysis.
  • Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated by referencing OPS, or part drawing.
  • Holds and maintains fork lift certification when asked to do so.
  • Implements lock out/tag out process to accomplish job duties such as oven cleaning.
  • Lights ovens, turns knobs, and observes gauges on control panel to set specified temperature and air circulation in oven, synchronizes speed of conveyor.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe manner and obey all safety policies and procedures
  • Perform all job duties consistent with the Code of Ethics and the 4-I Values

Nationwide Industrial Refrigeration Company is looking for a Pipe Fitter/Welder. This person will be responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Pass a 6G weld test within first week of employment (tested on 2″ schedule 80 steel stick, 60/10 root, 70/18 cap – uphill weld 45 degree angle)
· Have experience with open route welding (no insert)
· Have the ability to position weld
· Be able to fit his or her own pipe
· Be able to weld a minimum of 50 diameter inches in 8 hours
· Preferably have experience with either high pressure pipe, steam line or gas line, or process pipe welding
Requirements:
· Must be able to pass a 6G Weld test within first week of employment
· Test is on 2″ schedule 80 steel stick 60/10 root, 70/18 cap; pipe is beveled
· Prefer a minimum of 2 years industrial pipe welding experience
· Extensive travel required (typical tour is from the Tuesday of 1st week to the Thursday of 2nd week, with 12 hour days)

· Ability to climb 40 foot extension ladders and work on all types of ladders

· Must be able to stand, stoop bend, kneel and squat for extended periods of time
· Requires working in very hot (above 100F) or very cold (below 10F) temperatures and the ability to wear all required safety PPE in these conditions.
· Position requires pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and DUI screening
· As a representative of the company, individuals should be well groomed
· Must be willing to help the jobsite team out in the following areas: insulation, electrical, and painting
· Must be familiar with rigging, torch cutting, grinder & wire wheel operation, leveling, and use of measurement tools
