Minimum Requirements/Qualifications for the position are as follows:
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D
o Ability to stand, bend, stretch, reach, climb, repetitively to accomplish goals of stock room and direct impact of company-wide production goals.
o Maneuvers materials/parts/product by hand to fill MR (materials request), parts list, pull list, etc., in a safe and accurate manner.
o Ability to work inside and outside in hot and cold conditions in a noisy, hectic, dusty work area near production areas and in heavy foot and motorized traffic areas requiring attention to personal and environmental safety guidelines.
o Ability to frequently lift items that vary in size weighing up to 50 pounds individually or occasionally with assistance from others or by utilizing automated equipment.
o Ability to observe all activities throughout work areas to accomplish safety goals for self and others.
o Ability to deliver materials off-site using company vehicles or transport parts on-site and must be willing to learn operation of company equipment and must hold a valid driver’s license.

* Attention to Detail: produces work that is accurate and does not require any changes.
* Set up dies, extrusion machines and auxiliary equipment
* Observe machine operation to detect profile defects or machine malfunction and readjust operating conditions
* Conduct quality checks by measuring product dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation by using calipers
* Move finished profile and prepare racks of product for shipment
* Carry scrap and defective profile to grinding machine bins
* Fill hopper, and perform minor machine maintenance such as lubrication and cleaning dies
* Take hourly readings of machine gauges and document results on run sheets.
* Accurately count and report production and inventory at end of shift
* Perform duties in safe and responsible manner;
* Attend all plant EHS training as scheduled, and follow guidelines, rules, procedures and programs as trained

* One to two years experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
* 3-6 months manufacturing experience.

* Comfortable with operating machinery.

The primary role of the Repair Shop Mechanic is to process all work orders for customer repairs, as well as servicing/repairing their equipment. This position is also in charge of part ordering as well as filing warranty claims. This is a full time, hourly position.
